latest output from these grinding gents. Alot more of a death metal influence going on in this one than their previous work, but still plenty of grinding violence. definitely not one to miss out on.

UFO Gestapo
"This is sick sludge by Nasa scientists on amphetamines and narcotics simultaneously. You will feel the violence and drug abuse in each groove of that rolling manic sludge attack from outer space!" couldn't have said it better myself. Some real nasty tunes to fry your brain to.

Tarantula Hawk - Tarantula Hawk 2

Gonna start this off with one of my favorite records ever.
here we have one of the most unique records/bands to ever grace my ears. An amalgamation of varying genres, all of which i enjoy, with a very dark and sludgey tone. Blending the progressive and psychedelic sounds of King Crimson and Pink Floyd with the sludge-psyche of Dystopia and Electric Wizard, these guys made some killer tunes unlike any other band i've ever heard (except for maybe Yeti). Psyched-out brooding synths, super down-tuned leading bass lines, progressive and constant-killer drumming, one minute grindcore and the next super slow and sludgey, these guys deliver it all. I feel terribly sorry for all those who have never heard of Tarantula Hawk, and I hope that this post will give this band some well-deserved exposure, and maybe even convert some of you who somehow stumbled upon this blog. Tarantula Hawk are from San Diego, CA and were active in the late 90's, playing shows with the likes of The Locust, Dystopia, Yeti, and Neurosis just to name a few. download and enjoy ladies and gents
